Maleku Indian Communal Huts or Palenques

As part of our policy of interaction with our environment, both natural and cultural, we have established an agreement with the Maleku Indian Community. This community of approximately 600 indigenous people is located about 30 kilometers away from the hotel and they have built 2 Communal Huts or “Palenques” on our reserve to provide an opportunity to interact with them and to learn about their traditions, food and culture. Moreover, by buying their crafts you have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the indigenous community.
